This casual a-line skirt is a great spring and summer wardrobe basic. The body of the skirt is crocheted in the round from the waistband to above the knee in a linked double crochet stitch which creates a solid but flexible fabric. The edging is worked in an openwork pattern of arches and diamonds, creating a subtly scalloped hem. This pattern was originally published in Inside Crochet magazine.
