This is a pattern collection of the Anthemion Hat, Crocheted Toque, Mod Cap and Sleek Cloche patterns, at a discounted price.  You can find more information about each hat by following the links above, or purchase any pattern separately for $5.00.

Anthemion Hat

This close-fitting beanie has a contrasting band of color at the lower edge, which sprouts groupings of radiating petals reminiscent of the palmette or anthemion designs used in Greek architecture. It is crocheted in one piece from the crown to the brim, with spike stitch clusters creating the anthemion motifs. This is a quick project and one skein of each color is enough to make multiple hats. Try making it in a bulky wool for a warm winter hat that will foreshadow the coming spring.

This pattern is sized from 15.5" to 22" head circumference and has a gauge of 11.5 sts to 4" in half-double crochet using aran weight yarn.  The yardage required ranges from 75-95 yards.  The yarn shown is Blue Sky Alpacas Dyed Cotton.

Crocheted Toque

This brimless hat has a flat top and a snug band, which gives it a subtle pouf shape.  A simple change in direction mid-way through the hat creates an intriguing shadow-line and subtle change in texture.  The hat is worked in the round from the crown to the contrasting-color band.

This pattern is sized from 18" to 20" head circumference and has a gauge of 20 sts to 4" in half-double crochet using dk weight yarn.  The yardage required ranges from 150 to 175 yards.  The yarn shown is Artfibers Rush.

Mod Cap

This simple-to-crochet cap is worked from the top down, ending with the jaunty brim.  Depending on the wearer, it looks sporty or mod and somehow slightly British.  The soft cotton yarn is a pleasure to wear.

This pattern is sized from 16" to 21" head circumference and has a gauge of 15.5 stitches to 4" in half-double crochet using worsted weight yarn.  The yardage required ranges from 110 to 145 yards.  The yarn shown is Manos del Uruguay Cotton Stria.

Sleek Cloche

I’m always on the lookout for vintage cloches and am invariably disappointed when they’re too small to fit my head. This crocheted version gives the requisite sleek look and the single crochet stitch lends necessary structure, keeping the iconic cloche shape even as it stretches to fit the wearer’s head. The cluster of buttons finishes off the vintage look.

This pattern is sized from 19.5" to 20.5" head circumference and has a gauge of 14 stitches to 4" in single crochet using aran weight yarn.  The yardage required ranges from 160 to 190 yards.  The yarn shown is Blue Sky Alpacas Dyed Cotton.
