This quickly knit shawl starts with a simple stocking stitch and eyelet pattern, and then transforms into an all-over lace pattern. As a whole, it resembles leaves growing up a trellis at the beginning of spring. It’s large enough to wrap around your shoulders, but small enough to wind snugly around your neck. This would be a great pattern for people learning to read charts.
