These unisex topless mittens are a simple, quick knit and make a great gift. The ridges down the back of the hands give them a bit of texture while remaining sleek. They are long enough to tuck into your coat sleeves and keep your wrists warm. Knit in the round on dpns (or try two circulars, or magic loop), they come together in a couple hours and use just one ball of yarn.

105(130, 155) yards O-Wool Balance (50% organic wool/50% organic cotton; 130 yards/50 grams)
size 2 and size 4 double-pointed needles
stitch markers
scrap yarn to use as stitch holder
optional: row counter
GAUGE: 4" = 20 sts by 33 rows in stocking stitch on size 4 needles
Note: this yarn usually knits at 19 sts = 4”, but has been knit on smaller needles to get a denser fabric suitable for gloves.
