This cozy lace shawl is the perfect combination of simple and interesting. It starts at the neck, and the slightly-more-than-half circle shape is created with rows of yarn-overs. Two sets of diamond motifs accent the lower border, and are an easy introduction to lace knitting and chart reading. The diamond lace pattern is both written out and charted.
Kits for this pattern are available in my etsy shop. Kits include hand-dyed small-farm alpaca yarn from Black Diamond Alpacas, printed pattern, and pdf download code for $36 plus shipping.
