This sophisticated skirt is quick to knit, worked in the round from the waistband to the hem. The a-line shape skims your figure without clinging and the lace edging, which is knit separately and sewn on, sways gently as you walk. Rather than sewing in a lining, I suggest layering this skirt over a slip that is a darker color than the yarn.

size 7 and 9 24" or longer circular needles

1 (1, 1, 1, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5) yards ½" elastic in a color darker than your yarn

GAUGE: 4" = 18 sts by 22 rows in Stocking Stitch on size 9 needles
