This a-line skirt is quick and fun to knit, worked in the round from the waistband to the hem. The lace edging, which is knit separately and sewn on, sways gently as you walk. The mercerized cotton ribbon holds its shape beautifully (the photographed skirt is 3 years old!) and skims your figure without clinging. Rather than sewing in a lining, I suggest layering this skirt over a slip that is a darker color than the yarn.
