Gothic architecture made beautiful work of tracery, ornamental work of interlacing or branching lines as seen in stained glass windows. The trellis pattern of this scarf similarly branches out to create a beautiful openwork pattern. Instructions are given for working the twisted stitches both with or without a cable needle.
