This scarf is almost all cable, which causes the edges to curve in and out sinously.  Worked in ribbing, it is reversible and very simple to knit.  You can use bulky or super bulky weight yarn, or try worsted weight yarn double-stranded.

260 yards worsted weight yarn OR 130 yards bulky weight yarn

size 11 needles

 GAUGE: 4" = 10-14 sts by 13 rows in K1P1 Rib

Note: worsted weight yarn shown usually knits at 20 sts to 4" in Stocking Stitch, bulky weight yarn shown usually knits at 8 sts to 4" in Stocking Stitch
